FAQ for Atlas Direct Tips Employees!

Q1. What information do you need from employees?

We only require your full name, email address for communication, email address for e-transfer deposits (if different from communication email) and your phone number.


Q2. How does Atlas send me my tips?

Atlas processes your tips via e-transfer to the email you designate inside of your profile. At anytime, you are able to update your email inside of Atlas by logging in and going to the profile section.

Important Notes:

E-transfers are sent via our banking partner, AptPay.

We recommend enabling auto-deposit with your bank for a seamless experience.

If you choose not to set up an auto-deposit, you’ll receive an email from AptPay with a password to complete the e-transfer.


Q3. When and how do I get my tips? 

Most tips payments are processed once a week on Fridays.

For example: Tips from Monday, May 6th, to Sunday, May 12th, will be transferred on Friday, May 17th.


Some locations have selected different payment periods:

  • Bi-Weekly
  • Weekly 
  • More frequent

Q4. I’ve got an email, but can’t find the code (answer to the e-transfer question). Where can I find the code needed to accept the e-transfer?

  • Check your junk/spam folder.
  • These emails are sometimes stacked as a thread, with the e-transfer email and the email containing the code grouped together, making them easy to miss.
